It's Not Enough [R] [Open]

Stella

"Let's go dance." Onyx suggested. "Okay." I agreed. Onyx grabbed Scarlet's hand, Scarlet grabbed my hand, and at the last second I grabbed Lucas's hand. Onyx dragged the three of us onto the dance floor and I laughed and started to dance.

(I hope you don't mind I had Lucas be pulled onto the dance floor. If you do just have him go back to the bar or something.)

Lucas stumbled as he was dragged away from the bar, and he managed to set his drink down before he spilled it all over himself. He was engulfed of the heat of the dance floor, and immediately felt like he was in the midst of a mosh pit, only with scantily clad girls. He preferred the mosh pit, honestly. But he did it for Stella.

Stella

"Come on Lucas. Dance. Have some fun." I coaxed. I grabbed his hands and started to dance, forcing him to dance with me. I laughed and let go of his hands for a moment to dodge another couple dancing. I grabbed onto his hands again and smiled at him as I continued to dance. This place was my haven, practically my home. I was truly in my element here.

[Would it be okay if when they are done at the club, if you having anything planned we can do that first then switch to the next day band practice?]

Lucas laughed, but still held back a bit. He wasn't used to such things, since he tended to be bothered by physical contact unless it was with a person who he was very close with. He hesitantly danced for a minute, before offering her an apologetic smile and exiting the crowd, returning to his drink and shuddering.

(Sure. It's fine with me.)

Stella

I watched Lucas walk back to the bar then I continued to dance with Onyx and Scarlet, laughing happily.

(I have to go now. Bye!)

Lucas ordered another drink, smiling. These were strong, and he could already feel the effects. He started up a conversation with the girl beside him, laughing and looking over at Stella now and then.

Stella

I finally pulled myself away from Onyx and Scarlet and went over to the bar and plopped down on the barstool next to Lucas. I made a motion to the bartender and she quickly made me a drink and set the extremely red liquid down in front of me. I grabbed it and downed it in one gulp. After I set the empty glass down on the bar I ordered another one and took a sip before I looked to the girl next to Lucas and realized she was a vampire. I narrowed my eyes and bared my fangs at her, making sure Lucas or anybody around us couldn't see. I knew what this girl was trying to do. She had sensed Lucas was getting drunk and had decided to take advantage of that so she could feed from him.

(I hope you don't mind me making the girl next to Lucas a vampire. I thought it would be interesting if I had Stella protect Lucas from other vampires, kind of like she's claimed him for herself.)

[That's fine.]

Lucas continued talking to a girl, and eventually ordered another drink. "Don't let me do anything stupid, okay?" He asked Stella, grinning. He stood, heading over to the bathroom, and when he returned, the girl caught his attention, and handed him the drink. Lucas winked at her, downing the drink as time went on.

Stella

I glared at the girl and bared my fangs again, warning her away from Lucas. I smiled at Lucas and said, "Alright."

Lucas found himself, absorbed back into the crowd, the girl nearly hanging on him. He smirked at her, and bent down, pressing his lips to her's in his drunken stupor. The two backed out of the crowd, bumping against people until they finally hit the wall. His brown eyes snapped open, and he smiled through the kiss.

Stella

My eyes narrowed as I saw Lucas and the vampire go into the crowd then end up on the other side of the room with Lucas kissing the vampire. In a nanosecond I was beside them. Lucas had told me to make sure he did nothing stupid and I do believe this counted as stupid, kissing a vampire that wanted to feed from him. I did the only thing I could think of, I grabbed Lucas, shoved the vampire girl out of the way, hugged Lucas to me, and pressed my lips to his. ~Back off. He's mine.~ I sent the silent forceful message to the other vampire, hoping she would finally get the hint to leave Lucas alone. I wasn't getting up my hopes though as I relaxed into the kiss.

Lucas nearly growled as he was pulled away from the girl, and his eyes widened when suddenly, he was kissing Stella. It didn't seem wrong, not in his current state, but before his surprise could fade, he was yanked backwards, backpedaling until he hit a wall, and was looking down at Adam. The teenager dragged him out the door, pushing Lucas forward and letting him trip. The cold air and gravel digging into his palms was enough to clear his head, and Lucas groaned, pushing himself off the concrete. "What was that, Lucas?" Adam had his arms crossed, and was looking at Lucas crossly. "The powers of alcohol."

Stella

When Lucas was yanked away from me I was about to bare my fangs, thinking it was the female vampire, when I caught sight of Adam dragging Lucas out the door. I quickly followed them and got outside just in time to see Adam cross his arms and glare at Lucas. "I'm sorry about that. I just... I knew..." I replied, trailing off, not knowing how to explain the incident without revealing my true identity.

Lucas was still sitting on the ground, his arms behind him as he looked up at the two. "Dammit, Lucas, you can't get mixed up with strangers right now!" Adam, for someone of his delicate appearance, was intimidating when he glared. "Watch it, fluffy." Lucas warned, returning the glare with an equal amount of defiance. "I can do whatever I damn well please, remember?" Lucas glanced at Stella, but returned his eyes to Adam quickly.

Stella

I watched their argument quietly, watching as Lucas's eyes switched to me then moved back to Adam. I felt my belly gurgle and I sighed silently. Great. Now I was hungry.

(I have to go soon.)

"I thought you said you were done hooking up with random people?" Adam asked. Lucas groaned. "Yeah, I thought Tod was the last too, but I was wrong, okay?" Lucas stood, sending an apologetic glance in Stella's direction.

Stella

I smiled and nodded so Lucas would know I didn't mind when hen sent me the apologetic look. "Don't blame him. It's my fault too." I said to Adam.

Adam brushed his hair out of his face, shaking his head. "Lucas knows better. Tod was supposed to be a one night fling, and it turned into a big complicated relationship that left Lucas in a pissy mood for several months."

Stella

"Oh. Well." I replied, not knowing what else to say. My hunger was growing since I was in such close proximity to the two humans in front of me. I was finding my gaze lingering on their necks and my fangs were trying to push thru my gums and I was desperately trying to stop them. If I didn't feed soon one of these men were going to be in danger. Or both of them.

"I'm gonna take Lucy home, okay?" Adam crouched down to help Lucas up, and glanced over at Stella before heading back inside to find his girlfriend. Lucas smiled, and looked down at the ground. "Sorry 'bout that. how about we head back inside for a little while?"

Stella

"Sure. Hey, I'm sorry about kissing you. I know you probably didn't want me too." I replied, moving over by him. When we got inside I was heading straight for the bar and ordering a special Bloody Mary to sate my hunger so I wouldn't dig my fangs into Lucas's neck. No matter how much I wanted to.

(Hello? You gonna post?)

"Debatable. I hardly remember it even now." He felt the other girl's hand on his shoulder, and he shrugged it off, growling deep in his throat. "No thanks, love. I've had enough for tonight."

Stella

"Oh. Okay. Do you want to go get a drink?" I replied, a little disappointed he didn't remember our kiss.

"Yeah.. sure.. I think I'll just have water, though." Lucas replied, a bit hesitant to give up the potent drinks.
