Claiming (PG13)

Arsh's eye kids slowly broke open and he looked at her, "Yes?" He asked.

Grace looked over with excitement dancing joyfully in her big brown eyes.

"i think the cubs are coming" Sandra said.

Arsh leaped to his paws, "W-what?" He said unsure with a 'what do I do?' Expression painted on his face.

Grace jumps down and rushes into the cave coming out with some bone from the hip,"Water." Was all she said then stood waiting for Sandra to walk with her to the bed of moss they had made.

Sandra instinctively walked to the prepared spot for the birthing. She gently lowered herself down, then turned so she was laying on her side. Pressure in her hips and back end was build and turning from just discomfort, to pain. She began panting.

Grace brought some pain helping herbs and said, "Eat." She knew they were nasty but they'd numb the pain. She went to the bone pile and picked up a thick none and brought it to her. " Bite this when pain is too much."

GreenFinch shuddered, looking around and flexing her paws. The cub was up to her chest in thick, crystalized snow. GreenFinch blinked her fantical eyes and gave a small mew. She then pawed a pathway through the snow and escaped, with a satified grin, she lifted a paw to go forward, then PLOP! She fell back through. With a frustrated roar, she sat there, her head poking out of the snow with a snow cap ontop.

Sandra became nervous when she heard another roar off in the distance. She didnt want anyone killing her cubs, or her, in her weak time of birthing. She pushed, partially out of fright, and partially she wanted to get the babies out before anyone could hurt them. Out tumbled a wet, slimy cub. It was a boy. Sasha laid up and turned around and started licking the baby clean. It's eyes were closed and it began chirping right away. She could tell that he would be a bright and strong one. After all, he did push his way to be born first.

Gracie gently picked you the cub and placed it into the water Arsh had just brought. She shewed him off then cleaned the cub imbellicle cord and put some herbs on it before placing it but Sandra's tits.

Arsh listened to the roar, it sounded of a cub. He took off in curiousity advancing to the sound. When he reached it he saw a stuck cub. He slowed and stood over it and aimed to pick it you but the neck gentley.

Sandra became very nervous when Arsh wandered off. She knew that he was going to find the source for the roaring, but he was leaving her aline and helpless giving birth! she knew that gracie was there two, but in their state, a full grown male lion would easily kill her cubs and take her and gracie away. She didnt want to roar to give away their hidden birthing spot, but she needed Arsh to protect her. She let out a painful roar as the pain in her hips came back, and she pushed. Another cub tumbled out, and Sandra's maternal instincts kicked in once again. she turned and licked the second cub clean, and continued to lick each of her two cubs bottoms as they nursed at her full nipples.

Gracie took the next cub away and did the same procces before returning it.

Arsh ignored her roar.

Now that arsh had not returned, Sandra was completely revealed. Every lion in the mountain knew she was there and Sandra was very vulnerable. She breathed hard, panting. "Arsh isnt coming, what are we going to do if a male lion comes?" Sandra managed to breath out. He chest raised up and down heavily. Her fears were very great. she was scared. Not because she was giving birth, but because of what the situation she was because she was giving birth. and how vulnerable she was.

A male lion heard the weak roar of a female. He sniffed the air and smelt the aroma of blood and other birthing scents. He decended down the mountain in search of the source.

Grace sighed, "You'd be surprised at how rare a intruder is to any kind of birthing. Wolves go far from their pack all alone and do it, well that's how it is normally done." She said getting anoyed with her,"Now focus, forget everything but the babies, me, and what is happening now." She told her then added, " Plus Arsh has this land pretty well sented, and a male I'm pretty sure wouldn't come for just one female and a old bat that can't breed like me. Arsh is very kind, most males turn older females out to die if they are was weak was me and in their eyes worthless."She finished smiling.

Sandra finally gave one last push and out fell another boy. That made three cubs total, 2 boys, and one girls. She panted, her sandpaper like tongue moving back and forth within her mouth. She sat up, letting her pups fall from her teats and licked the last one clean. She then layed down gingerly again and invited her pups to nurse. She layed her head down and looked off into the horizon, wondering where Arsh went.

The male lion found the source. two females, and one of them had just given birth. the second one seemed too weak to bear cubs, so she would have to go. But the first one seemed perfectly fit for bearing his cubs. The lion crept closer, and pounced in front of the two females, aiming for the cubs.

Sandra leapt up, and stood guard in front of her cubs she bared her teeth and struck out at the male. Although she was still weak from birthing, her adrenaline and maternal instincts kept her sharp. for the moment at least.
