When she pulled away I let her, understanding she wasn't ready for the kiss to go deeper. When she lowered her head I gently reached my hand out and place it on her chin and lifted her head so she could look at me. I gave her a reassuring smile then said, "It's alright. Don't be embarrassed. I understand if you didn't want it to go further, that you weren't ready yet."

I felt the tingle again when she touched my chin.my heart skipped a beat, but a huge wave of relief settled in my head. I couldn't believe how understanding she was.
