A Song for the Sea...

"What happened in your past?" I asked, hoping that talking about it would make it feel better.

"the only thing my parents every gave me was a name...apart from that i was an outcast and now i'm disowned from my family... my past is more like a horror movie" i said simply not really wanting to go into details..

"I understand how you feel. Both my parents died when I was three. I've been put in hundreds of different homes, but I ran from every one." I sighed.

"yeah.. mine died when i was young and then i learnt to be an assassin when i was six and i quit about a year ago but my skils still haven't dulled..." i said

smiled slightly befoer taking out my flute and playing again...

"That is wonderful music. What is the name of the song?" I said, wondering if I was her guardian angel.

"Through Wolf Eyes.. it's the one song i know.. the lyrics themselves are beautiful but the tune makes it even more enchanting.. and i'm sure that you are not my guardian angel... i'll never have on and i don't really need one" i said... i was rather quick at picking theese sort of things up and since she was an angel even though she was fallen i had an idea of what she was thinking...

I flinched like she had hit me. "Okay." I looked at the ground, at my feet, anything but at her. I turned away, spreading my wings. I shook my head, tears blurring my vision. One escaped and hit the sand. "Nyx, please forgive me." I sighed.

"i said i didn't need a gaurdian angel i never said i didn't want a freind" i said and crossed my arms and hugged her to comfort her.."i just prefere to be alone really but to be honest you are the first fallen angel..or in my case human like creature freind i have" i said and looked her in the eyes and smiled slightly before taking a few steps back

"Yeah, you're the first human I've ever known to actually like me. They all run." I smiled through the tears, which were now falling steadily. I folded my wings again.

"c'mon then.. stop crying and cheer up.. i hate to see tears really" i said and then played another tune on my flute.. it was a bit like festival music...

I smiled. I really needed a friend. I heard a meow and turned to see my black cat, BlackJack, sitting on a rock. "Hey Jack, when did you get there?" I reached over and petted him. He purred as I said, "This is my cat, BlackJack. You can pet him if you like. He loves people." I grinned at Wolfe. "Unless you're too scared." I teased.

i smiled.."I'm not scared at all" i said and put a hand out for BlackJack to sniff and then stroked his fur.."he really is a very nice cat.."

"Thank you." I said as he leaped onto my shoulder, balancing like he was in a show.

i then said "oh that reminds me.. i use to know a rather odd cat... although i can't really sayshe was a cat she was a bit odd though" i rustled my hair

"What do you mean, you can't call her a cat?" I cocked my head, unbalancing BlackJack.

"well she's a Cheshire cat.. the second generation, so she has a human form as well .. although there is never only one there is always a small group of them atleast it's just that the world only knowns of her father...although some have met her but they thought she was male because they are stupid...that's what she said" i answered...

"Oh. I don't think I know a Cheshire cat." I frowned, thinking. "Nope. Never met one. Never even seen one."

"yeah they are hard to find.. the are born with odd skills that make them undetectable... although they can vary" i said..."i just ran into her by chance but like me you shouldn't get into her black books" i laughed slightly

I raised an eyebrow, unsure of what she meant. "What?" I asked.

"in other words don't make her angry... she may be mad but seriously do not attempt to capure or do anything that could anger her...no one can stop her when she's angry..also Cheshire cats have cat forms so BlackJack could be a Cheshire cat and you might not know it" i said... "her skills are invisabilty.. making herself and objets vanish and also illusions.. she an use theese very well.. i fell into one of her illusion traps when she was board..." i said...

"So you're saying I could have a cheshire cat on my shoulder right now?" I said, incredulous. "That would explain how he got here so fast."

"well if he is a Cheshire Cat he should have a human like form.. although he'll still have cat ears and a tail" i said..
a grey and light green striped cat with even lighter green eyes jumped on my shoulders... she seemed to be a very odd cat...i looked to the cat and it meowed...

"So is that a Cheshire?" I asked, jumping when it appeared.
